Xiaomi’s flagship products are awaited by a very large community of its diehard fans and supporters. And this community has been growing from a steady pace, thanks to company’s super powerful devices that are launched at jaw-dropping prices. Mi 7 is company’s next flagship device highly anticipated by this thriving community.
So in this article we’re going to take a look on all the info that you should know about this smartphone, including its features, price and release date. Let’s begin:
Xiaomi Mi 7 Rumored Features
While a large number of Mi 7’s features are only rumors at the time, one thing about it is certain, and that is Snapdragon 845. That’s right – company’s CEO Lei Jun had said at Snapdragon Technology Summit that Xiaomi has a very special relationship with Qualcomm, and therefore it has chosen Snapdragon 845 as the chip that will power its next flagship smartphone. Next flagship is obviously Mi 7, so we’re almost certain about this thing.
Other rumored features of the device include a 6-inch bezel-less display with aspect ratio of 18:9, 6GB RAM, company’s proprietary face unlock feature and dual lens rear camera. The fingerprint sensor is rumored to be ditched this time in favor of face unlocking, just as it was done by Apple in iPhone X. Not much is known about the device besides these details.
Xiaomi Mi 7 Expected Price
Since Mi 7 will be Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone and successor of currently available Xiaomi Mi 6, it’ll obviously be costlier than all other smartphones made by the company till date. But still, since Xiaomi prices its devices very aggressively, we hope that this one may be priced somewhere in the upper mid-range price segment. That is, in the range of 25K – 35K INR. Rest we’ll be able to determine only after we come to know a bit more about the device.
Xiaomi Mi 7 Expected Release Date
Xiaomi Mi 7 may come much earlier than expected. The company is going to be an exhibitor at this year’s Mobile World Congress, and there’s a possibility that it may use the conference to launch its Mi 7 flagship. Earlier it has used MWC to launch its Mi 5 flagship, but last year it had pulled out of the conference. Now this year it has decided to make a comeback, and therefore, there’s a possibility that company may again use the conference stage to launch its new flagship product.
