In modern times, the smartphones are serving as more than mobile phones. You can have almost all the computing features done using a smartphone. So, it is like holding a small computer which skids into your pockets and can wake up any time with a screen transition.
So, a smartphone serving as so many applications, also brings up the security issues. A smartphone is now-a-days used for a wide variety of applications from calling to gaming to surfing internet to even do the banking. So, the last one- the banking and such financial applications require the security protection or precautions to be taken.
In this post, I have already posted some best tips for smartphone security. So, you can basically keep your smartphone secure from the attacks of virus, hackers, identity thieves, cyber criminals and other creeps.
Since now-a-days every smartphone maker is equipping in the security concerned applications known as lock screens, you should always use the passwords in your smartphone so that the other unwanted users could not access your valuable personal data including pictures, videos, chats, messages and notes.
Every smartphone (whether it is iPhone, Android or Lumia) is provided with lock screen or password protected features. So, use them for your smartphone security. If you are putting the PIN protected passwords, then choose some relevant passwords not like 1234, 2345 and other such simple combinations. If you are putting some pattern locks, then choose some complicated ones. I recommend choosing the PIN protected passwords.
Just like PC requires antivirus protection to remove the malwares, threats like viruses and spams, our mobile smartphone also require some antivirus program. There are many antivirus programs available in the iTunes Store, Android Play store, Nokia OVI and BlackBerry Apps Store. Antivirus security softwares easily remove the virus which can come through web or from some third party application or files.

Before downloading any application from the Play Store, you should always check if the application has been developed from a trusted developer. Moreover, checking apps permissions is also required. Apple iTunes software is quite trusted store from security concerns.
But open sources like Android Play Store is prone to many spammers and hackers who develop applications with some fake name with back end permissions over your information like contacts, messages, pictures etc. So, you should check the app permissions first before installing it. Example, an application calculator who wants permissions over your contacts can be a malware. So avoid and tackle such apps.
If you receive any email with a suggestion to click on a link, avoid it. Delete the email. Use a specific and trusted email provider like Gmail who has a nice facility to put spam emails in spam folders. But still you should be aware of any kind of miss-happening which can result into the penetration of hackers into your smartphone and thus destroying your smartphone’s security.
Updates are generated by the operating system and applications developers. Newer updates kill the bugs and fix the security issues left in the previous software or apps coding. So, whenever, new update arrives, do update your smartphone. The outdated apps version and outdated operating system are more prone to hacking attacks.
Wireless networks are the most insecure networks. I do not say that you should not use the features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, rather suggest turning these features off after their use. You can use the Non-Discoverable mode also in the Bluetooth settings.
The cyber criminals have tricks to connect to your smartphone through a wireless network and then accessing all of your personal information without even letting you know.

Yes, you should put off sounds which are unnecessary like the key-tap sounds, warning sounds, incoming calls or messages alert sounds or even notification sounds to save battery life. It can save few percents of your smartphone battery. Thus your phone would be able to work for more few minutes (20 to 30 minutes). A smartphone owner can know the importance of 20-30 minutes. So, do turn off sounds and other alerts of the device.
Similarly, you should also turn off the unnecessary vibrations from the phone. According to me one should turn off vibrations of every possible alert other than calls.
Whenever you feel that your battery of the phone will end soon, you should always adjust the brightness to the lower possible visibility level. Lower the brightness would be, more the smartphone will run. However, it is recommended to keep the brightness level of your smartphone at range level ranging between 33% to 45%.
The higher brightness also causes damage to eyes. It should be noted that at the night time, you can put the brightness level to minimum level. In day time, the automatic brightness adjustment option should e welcomed.
Every smartphone has a feature of screen timeout. It should be as low as possible. Since, the display consumes too much battery power, there should be precautions entertained to save as much as battery when the display is not in use.
So, screen timeout feature can save significant battery power by just switching off the phone’s display as per the time set by the user, I suggest to keep the screen timeout at 10 seconds only. So, the screen will turn off every 10 seconds, if you are not using it.

This tip to improve smartphone battery life also applies to the featured phones. Smartphones generally use the Lithium ion based batteries. So, let the battery drain first completely and then charge it fully to maintain a complete charge cycle of about 2-3 hours. When your device will get fully charged, it’ll notify you through the Battery Fully charged message, you yourself will experience an increase in your smartphone battery life.
It should be noted that due to higher penetration of smartphones into our lives, we cannot even live a second without our handy gadget, the early removal of phone through plug (before full charge) will also not cause any harm to battery. But to improve smartphone battery life, the full charge cycle is very necessary.
Since smartphone entertains the users with their multitasking abilities, the users unusually press on the Home Key and thus keeping the application on and consuming RAM. So, guys! Consumption of more RAM drains battery faster.
So, always close the apps which you have used and thus improve smartphone battery life. You can open the RAM manager or Task manager to kill the running apps and to check the amount of RAM being consumed at that particular instant. For the Android users, the Task manager has an option of clear RAM memory to close all the applications.
GPS is very power consuming which runs both the GPS module and the internet data pack (2G or 3G). Browsing and searching on maps are very power consuming. So, it is recommended to immediately turn these features off mobile data pack, Wi-Fi module and GPS feature, whenever you are done with them.
Similarly putting on unnecessary Bluetooth or NFC features can lead to drain battery faster. So, be aware of these wireless features enable and disable functions. Only switch on them when required.
So, I think now you have enough tips to improve smartphone battery life. The above tips will definitely append 4-5 hours to your phone’s battery backup.

After that, I am going to explain in the below part where saving a phone dropped in water will become easier. Have a look.
STEP 1 – So, guys, as I have told earlier, immediately remove the phone from the water as longer the time the phone lies into water, more, is the chances of its damage. So hurry up and take it out of the water.
STEP 2 – Immediately remove the battery of the phone by opening the rear cover of the device. Don’t stuck in the traditional method of switching off the mobile phone. Just open the rear cover and remove the battery. This is done because longer the battery would be kept into its drawer, the chances of short circuiting of various elements in the mobile phone’s circuitry become more. So, better to remove the battery first.
STEP 3 – Now unpack the phone with the rear cover, with the simple parts which do not require a need of professional tools. Remove the SIM card(s), the memory card and other components of the phone.
STEP 4 – Use a dry cloth or towel to clear the visible water from the mobile phone. It should be noted that water will rinse inside the circuit which you cannot clear using the towel but the water on the exteriors should be cleared first.
STEP 5 – Now hold your phone tightly and vigorously shake it to bring out maximum water you can, from the internals. Do it for few minutes and then try drying your phone using various drying methods.
STEP 6 – Now you have to apply the drying methods as the last saving step to save your phone dropped in water. This step should be followed for at least 3 days and you should keep the phone aside from the reach of other people as if anybody starts the phone by putting battery, there is a risk of full damage. So be patient now. Follow the below methods to save a phone dropped in water.
In this method, you should take a bowl of rice (raw rice). Keep the phone in the rice and then cover the surroundings of the mobile phone with rice keeping a little portion of phone visible. Keep the bowl somewhere in lone place for at least 3 days. Rice will absorb all the moisture of your phone (from internals too). After 3 days, there is 95% chances that phone has been saved from damage if you took those early precautions successfully (picking up phone from water and removing battery immediately).
Use of the hair dryer and blowers are the most common things which people do to evaporate the water or remove the water from phone’s internals, but they themselves damage the phone by heating the water and the vapors deposit more inside into phone. Rather you should use the vacuum pump which pumps out the water inside the circuitry. This method is not as efficient as the above one as sometimes due to use of vacuum static charges are created which further destroy the phone.
Similar to method 1, silica gels are very good absorbers of water. You need to buy some of the packets from market. Take a bowl and then cover your phone with the silica gel packets. Keep the bowl aside for three days. After three days, you can put the battery in and switch it on to check if it is working properly or not.
NOTE: If your phone does not starts, then you should now rush to your manufacturer exchange and ask them for a solution. Water dropping causes the warranty to be void. However, they will charge some money to clean the internal parts by opening them through the professional tools and cleaning them individually using the alcohol.
So, this post is helpful to everybody who owns a phone. I have lost my Apple iPhone due to unawareness of what to do to save phone when dropped in water. That is why I compiled this post. Like and share us on Facebook, Google Plus or any of your favorite social media site.

Thanks to the many rising stars, LG has become a brand which is almost forgotten by the majority of people, except a few. Recently, the seventh installment in the G series had been attracting a lot of attraction. We are here to shed some light on upcoming phone by Lg i.e LG G7, rumors and keep you tech geeks up to date with the latest tech gossips.
Rumors suggest that the LG G7 will debut alongside its superior, LG G7 plus. This strategy seems to target the Samsung lineup of the S9 and S9 Plus. If LG intends to get a fair share of the smartphone market, it has to go neck to neck with the present competition, and what better way to do it, other than flaunting its specs besides the present smartphone competitors.
The G7 plus is rumored to boast a 5.10-inch screen while its peer will have a smaller and handy 5.4-inch display. Many other specs such as the eye sensor and the most speculated enable display is yet to surface, as the mobile are yet to be released according to Lgg7info.com
It is said that the G7 will make its official debut at the MWC 2018, probably in the third week of January. Preorders of the device should start a few days after the announcement is done in Barcelona, where the Congress will be held.
The preordering will available to the top carriers along with the more acclaimed Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Edge. People willing to land this monster should use the preorder service as their main weapon, as there will be a huge demand for the G7.
Most f the times LG give out many freebies with their preorders, so make sure you read all the instructions before placing your order.
The battery had always been a strong suit with the LG G6, and now it's up to the G7 to carry the torch of greatness forward. Normally the battery plays a major role in android devices, and having a 3,500 mAh might seem good, but the device isn't properly optimized, LG will have a hard time retaining its market hold among the contemporaries. So far the company hasn’t let us down, so here is to 2018.
The G6 came with two rear cameras which gave a good depth of field to the photos it clicked. The picture quality was also pretty decent, and the night scenes were noise free. However, there were some issues with the saturation, but it was negligible to the normal eye, and for casual users, it won’t even pose a problem.
The G7 however, is rumored to have a single 22MP shooter. This is only just a speculation, but for all we know, it may very well be two rear cameras for that matter. Only time will tell whether of our G7 manages to exceed the expectations of the standards that G6 had previously established.
The front camera will be a 12 MP shooter and that’s pretty much it. at this stage, nothing certain can ve said with absolute certainty.

Here is where it gets interesting. The new Android Oreo 8.0 Oreo is supposedly making its debut in the year 2018. Little to nothing is known about this version.
Android is known to bring a new feature with every new version, and Oreo also might not be an exception. Rest assured, we are guaranteed something new when the new G7 will be launched.
The new G7 will be marked at $800, not usual for a phone unless it is an iPhone. Priced at this range the phone ends to have some serious juice if t is looking to compete in the superphone genre. All other mobile use the new and improved Snapdragon 835 chipset, but the G7 uses the 830 variant, which worries me the most.
All other up to date specs aside, if the processor used is a backdated one, the device may find it har to make a reputation on the mobile market.
The LG G7 will be some hot stuff come the following year that’s for sure. In their journey of becoming the well-renowned mobile industry out there, they have come up with some good designs with decent specs over the years.
The new G7 which will be launching somewhere around January 2108 (dates are subjected to change) may be the game changer that LG was looking for.
However, nothing can be said for certain as within these few months a lot can happen. Although we have high hopes for LG the 3500mAh battery may prove to be a pickle in their progress. A well optimized OS shouldn’t be any problem for the juice box, but in reality, only time will tell whether they will triumph or not. Let us know your thoughts in comment section.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 plus were great mobile phones until they started bursting into flames somewhere around last year. While some workers were working day and night to solve this problem, others were developing a new model that would help people to move on from this tragedy. Introducing the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
The S8 plus is built careful precision and flawlessness. These smartphones may be the first steps to the path of retribution/ people who have got their hands on the S8 plus will definitely agree with their organic looks, innovative design and the simple easiness with which the device goes about doing its job.
The pros include a smooth finish which is comfortable to hold and also boasts a strong performance. The new Samsung UI also feels more polished. However, the fingerprint sensor placement is a bit awkward and the cameras which are a key factor in this range, aren’t improved that much since the previous models.
The S8 and the S8 plus is largely similar, and the latter only outlines the former in terms of performance and a battery life. The comfortable narrow design not only renders the S8 plus comfortable to handle, it also has a better longevity package in terms of long term usage without getting your hand numb in the process. Although the location of the fingerprint is the all over pickle of the device, overall performance seems to make up for it.
It goes without saying, but the description and the stock photos of the phones on the internet don’t do them proper justice. They are just gorgeous to look at with their rounded edges and precisely proportional metal glass bodies. They also appear a lot slimmer than the previous S7 variants. Both the displays of the S8 and S8 plus are 5.8 and 6.2-inch respectively. The curved flagship designs of Samsung ios found much appealing to the people, and the company probably thinks it doesn’t need a block type design to maintain its appeal.
The screen remains almost the same when compared to the previous version, but the bezels seem to have disappeared, all thanks to the superb design. Like the Lg G6, the screens are longer and narrower providing a better grip.
The S8 brothers sport a USB type C charge a common recurrence in all the on temporary devices. The old classic port is being ditched by the companies on the pretext that they take up to much space, hence the new Type C. both the devices are IP68 water and dust resistant, which means the underwater selfies and swim shots are going to get only better from this point.
In terms of horsepower, both the devices pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, along with 4GB of RAM. The new RAM is an LPDDR4 variant and is said to set the benchmark, quite high. Coupled with Adreno 540, the new beast is just seeing with power. Both the devices come with 64Gb of onboard storage which can be expanded via an SD card up to 256GB. Both devices support LTE capabilities along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, which offers faster data speeds a longer data ranges. Although at this time and age, no one uses the Bluetooth to send and receive data, the wearables will be ones who will be benefiting from this upgrade.
The only difference that sets these two devices apart are their batteries. The S8 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery while the S8 Plus packs a 3,500 mAh juice box. The reason why Samsung is pushing the battery issue is that the Note 7 was a failure in terms of battery backup and Samsung doesn’t want to repeat that mistake with her flagships.
Although the ports and all may be difficult to get used to, in the beginning, the design is superb and the average user will get used to them in no time.
The display is a quad AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2960 x 1440. The resolution can be manually adjusted as per the user's desires. By default, it is set to 2220 x 1080 display and can be dialed down, all the way to 1480 x 720. Lower the resolution lesser is the lower consumption, and in power saving modes, the icons may look a bit edgy, but not ugly.
Both te Galaxy siblings will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In the beginning, it will be hard to tell, as Samsungs own custom UI has stroked over Google’s design scheme. The TouchWiz has also been refined and remodeled after since the S7s.
The interface now has no app launcher and one has to slide up and down to take a look at all the apps they have installed, and Samsung was kind enough to include a search bar on top of the launcher for better navigation.
The camera appears to be not so impressive as the 12 MP rear shooter fails to impress the majority. Photos are decent with good exposure and great color representation. The dual pixel cameras focus at a lightning fast speeds
and the optical image stabilization produces top notch images. However, that will appear that something is missing in all these, as there appear some hazy edges when shooting in low light and sometimes in daylight scenarios.
The S8s 3,000 mAh battery sports a 13 hrs and 27 mins battery life which is slightly better than the S7. The test was done while an HD video was being played at 50% brightness, while the phone was connected to the Wi-Fi. The S8 Plus, however, sported a whopping 15 hrs and 8 mins of a lifetime, which is better than most of the competition, such as, Pixel XL, Note 7 and Moto Z and Force.
We aren’t still all the way through 2017 and some of the best smartphones may be still in the factories, awaiting their debut. But as for the present day scenario, Samsung seems to dominate the market with their S8 and S8 Plus flagships. It may lack in term of the camera quality nut in every other field, Samsung seems to leave everyone behind in the dust.
Welcome ladies and gentle geeks. Here at our channel, we do all the research for you so that you don’t have to go hunting all around the internet. Rumors, speculations, whispers, gossips, our website is a place where you, my gentle visitor, will receive a tangy cocktail of all the above. Our once favorite Nokia once ruled over the mobile market. With the advent of the entry-level smartphones, the little giant was crushed, to say the least.
The whole Symbian series vanished overnight. In a desperate attempt, the company tried to make a comeback with the new Symbian Anna and Belle, but to no avail. The new and cheap Android segment proved too much for them to handle. The whole Nokia lineup gradually dissolved into the oblivion of what seemed to be an eternity.
Shortly after that, Nokia made a contract with Microsoft and out came the Lumia series. However, though a little more optimized than Android, the crushed models lacked a sufficient app market to satisfy the app hungry people. Compared to Android base, Microsoft only had a fraction of their collection.
At the beginning of 2017, Google Plat has a total of ~2.8 million apps. Next, comes Apple App Store with 2.2 million followed by Microsoft Store with only 6,69,00 apps. On top of that, there are many apps and games and games which aren't available on the Microsoft Store. Therefore, Nokia Lumia became appealing to a very specific group of users, especially the corporate sector.
Finally, after their contract with Microsoft finally coming to an end, Nokia is rumored to debut in the present smartphone market with their rumored Nokia D1C.
The Nokia D1C is rumored to launch during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The mobile is aiming to target the entry level smartphone segment with a price tag of 10k. It is also said it will come out in two different variants. Since Nokia has confirmed that their CEO Rajiv Suri will speak at the MWC, everyone has their fingers crossed for the much rumored Nokia.
HMD Global was the first company to make this reveal about the smartphone. Since then, pictures, both real (self-assumed) and fan art has begun to surface on the internet. Only time will verify these floating rumors as the speculations related to the mobile continue to rise.
In terms of specs, the Nokia D1C will be sporting the basic 10k package, similar to all its contemporaries. Aside from that, the mobile will also come with its long history of rigidity and durability. A video became viral on the internet, where a girl was breaking walnuts with the D1C! Now we all know that in term of durability, Nokia surpasses any other smartphone out there, but this is ridiculous.
I am sure when the mobile phone do come out, people will try this experiment out. However, being a Nokia fanboy myself, I am a skeptic of any positive results.
The specs are basic and something everyone expects at this range. Nokia D1C sports a 5.5 inch LCD Full HD display. Other manufacturers mostly offer an IPS display. LCD is backdated and in terms of viewing angles, it has a long history of bad reviews. Hence, it is not the best thing to be introducing in a mobile that is making its debut.
But at this point, all of this is just a speculation, and the truth is yet to be revealed. Who knows, it may have an IPS display after all. Only time will tell. The rumor doesn’t state what type of glass is going to be used but we are assuming that it will the standards Corning gorilla Glass 3.
Upcoming Smartphones 2017 :
Under the hood, the D1C packs an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64 bit processor, clocked at 1.4 GHz. With 3 GB RAM and Adreno 505, it is not much different from the present competition.
Rumors say that another version of the device will be released, which we are assuming will have a boost in the RAM and internal storage capacity. Now, what worries me is that the specs which Nokia D1c will be sporting are presently available in the market. By the time Mobile World Congress is held, it is a possibility that mobiles with superior specs will be launched.
The D1C will then have a tough time competing with them. As such the D1C will fail to make the dent within the smartphone market, required to bring back Nokia into the game. although, the spec at this point is just a speculation. By the time the device is actually released, we may see that it sports far superior features than previously assumed. It’s a possibility.
Other features include a metal unibody design, with a 16 megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. No comments about the picture quality though. The device will be loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. It will be hand dual sim support with 4G LTE and VOLTE when it comes to JIO.
Power by a 3000 mAh battery. Nokia assumption guarantees one and a half day of wake time. The major pickle, however, is the memory. Nokia D1C comes with 16 GB of internal storage. Wow! That’s great. Wait were you expecting more?
Unlike its contemporaries, Nokia doesn’t support any external storage capability. Which means that the user is stuck with 16 GB of onboard storage, which at this age and time is not enough. This worries me, and I see this device suffering a lot due to this drawback. External memory is a necessity in almost all the devices and for an entry level device, this particular feature is what appeals most to the user.
Though this is speculation, if this turn into a reality, Nokia will suffer. They have been said to launch another version of the D1C and may include the external memory feature in that one. In that case. In that case, the D1C will suffer in terms of sales number, as buyers will be clamoring to buy the next one.
Nokia D1C is speculated to cost 10k (Rs. 9,999 to be exact). Is it any good? Well, only time will. Whether a device is properly priced depends vastly on the market. If by the time D1C is released, better competition comes out, sporting better specs below the 10k range, then Nokia will surely be overpriced.
Else, compared to the present entry level smartphone features, I would say that the D1C is perfectly priced. The unavailability of the expandable memory is going to hurt though. The reason people go for the entry level lineup is to get value out of their investment. Expandable memory is something which they expect by default. Stripping that key feature out of the D1C will surely hurt its reputation when it is finally released.
Giving a final verdict based off on speculations is incorrect, to say the least. If I take into consideration some of the features that are going to be included in the phone, that by far it is average, to say the least. It may seem that the specification goes on par with the present Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, if we are currently using the Prime. As we speak, Xioami may be working on a device even better than this one, while Nokia is rumored to be launched with older generation features.
This decreases the value of the D1C before release. But as I said earlier, the Nokia that we are talking about, and the Nokia that is going to be released may well be two different mobile phones. But as it stands, based on present statistics, the D1C doesn’t seem too impressive.
To a Nokia lover, the D1C may prove to be their salvation. Back in that day, there were only a handful of people who didn’t use Nokia! Shocking as it may sound, those days are long gone. The smartphone market has changed a lot and in order to make a mark at present age day and time, Nokia has to think outside of the box.
They ave to come up with something completely new. Something that has never been done before in the history of the smartphone. Otherwise, it will be unable to attract the attention of the present day users. Only a small community of users who feed of reminiscing on the past will not be enough. Nokia has to innovate and ensure high conversion rates. They should do something that compels present flagship users to look at the once mobile giant and appreciate it as the genius it was, back in the day.
Nokia has a lot of pressure on ts back, and frankly, I am curious to see as to how Nokia will pull off this comeback. I personally believe that they are aware of the present market scenario and have a trump card up their sleeve. The question is, what is it? Certainly, they are not going to let it leak out so easily, as the future of the company depends on it. Only time will tell.
