So finally the most anticipated budget smartphone of recent days has arrived. Xiaomi yesterday launched its Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in New Delhi alongside Mi Smart TV. Both these smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Mi.com online store, Mi Store app and Mi Home retail stores. Since both these devices were awaited from a long time, now when they’ve been launched I won’t consume any more of your time and we’ll dive straight into the specs and features of these robust new devices. Let’s begin:

Both smartphones come with MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat and include popular Xiaomi features like Beautify 3.0 and Portrait mode with Bokeh effects for both front and rear cameras. Both will also get company’s proprietary Face Unlocking feature in March through an OTA update, which will be a very nice addition to such awesome budget devices.
Other features of devices include 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC color gamut, 2.5D curved glass, and Fast Charging.
